With the reestablishment of Chocolat Grison, we have revived the centuries-old Graubünden chocolate tradition. The roots of Chocolat Grison date back to 1893, when Charles Müller and Carl Georg Bernhard founded the Müller & Bernhard chocolate factory in Chur. The chocolate factory was renamed Chocolat Grison in 1904. Chocolate was produced at the Fabrica da tschigulatta in Chur for 100 years. In 1906, Chocolat Grison invented the Kernbeisser, the first chocolate with whole hazelnuts.
